Impact of the energy situation of Ukraine on the welfare of the rural population

Abstract
Currently, taking into account the situation in the Ukrainian energy market, it should be noted that despite government support, subsidies, reimbursement of expenses, restructuring of the population’s debt for housing and communal services, the question of providing both the rural population and the population as a whole with cheap energy carriers remains unresolved. Increasingly, we can pay attention to the statistics of public debt for the payment of utility bills, both in villages and in cities. If at the beginning of 2017 the number of people who received subsidies reached 60%, then by the beginning of 2018, up to 40%. Although this figure has decreased and yet the percentage of the population receives subsidies is quite high, and this indicates that people cannot provide themselves with sufficient energy resources to have enough for accommodation and food without spending most of their income on housing and utility payments. Therefore, the question of finding alternative energy today is becoming ever more acute for us, we need to clearly understand the importance of energy saving and energy efficiency not only in enterprises but also in households.
