Semantic–morphological analysis of the concept «economic security of the enterprise»

Abstract
Subject of research – the essence of the concept of «economic security of the enterprise». The purpose of the paper is to develop the economic essence of the concept «economic security of the enterprise» by supplementing the existing author’s interpretations of the properties of its constituent concepts. Methodology of work – semantic and morphological analysis of the essence of the concept «economic security of the enterprise», the method of grouping objects, goals, tools and methods of economic security of the enterprise, synthesis of theoretical, methodological, conceptual, methodical approaches to the formation of economic security. Results of work. The essence of author’s interpretations of the concept «economic security of the enterprise» with the use of semantic and morphological analysis, the attribute characteristics of the components of the concept «economic security of the enterprise» that influence the formation of its properties are identified, the model of correspondence between the theoretical essence of the concept «economic security», methodology and the concept of the formation and management of the system of economic security, a methodology for assessing the level of economic security. Conclusions. On the basis of semantic–morphological analysis it was discovered that in the economic sciences the concept «economic security of an enterprise» is interpreted as a state, as a process, as an activity as a system. Objects of economic security are also different. The interpretation of objects of economic security in the form of a system of economic interests, the state of corporate resources and entrepreneurial capacities, conditions of functioning, economic potential, use of internal factors of activity, etc. are widespread. Consideration of the essence of the constituent elements of the concept of economic security of the enterprise made it possible to come to a conclusion about the various completeness of the use of the systematic approach in scientific author’s research. On the basis of the logical comparability between the author’s interpretations of economic security and the methodological foundations of the formation of the economic security system, the system of economic security management, and the methodology for calculating the level of economic security, their discrepancy with the essence of this concept was revealed.
