Implementasi Metode Profile Matching Untuk Evaluasi Potensi Akademik Penjurusan Siswa MAN 2 Kota Kediri

Abstract
The process of placement of students using the manual method causes the data processing has not been implemented to the fullest. This prompted the need to develop a computer-based system to facilitate the process of majors. The purpose of this study is to apply the profile matching method for evaluating the potential of academic placement of students. Profile matching method is used to analyze the assessment criteria of academic and non academic. Academic value criteria include the average value of report cards and the National Examination while data on the value of non-academic students include students interest, the interest of parents, IQ tests and record student achievement. The recommendations include majors majors science, social studies and English. Furthermore, assessment criteria adapted to the value of subject competence gap by category cores factors and secondary factors. Designing applications using the Java programming language and MySQL database. Results of the research is a application that can show students majoring recommendations Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Kediri.
