IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIVE METHODS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF UNIVERSITIES AS A SIGN OF AN INNOVATIVE UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The article clarifies the concept of «innovation», including «educational innovation» «innovative university», examines some innovative teaching methods in universities. Also defined differences between traditional and innovative teaching, discovered different variants of the classification of innovative teaching methods, formulated basic approaches to the selection of innovative didactic purpose in accordance with the classes, the advantages and disadvantages of the use of certain methods. Highlighted importance of innovation in learning process of entering higher school of Ukraine into the European educational space.
