Implementation of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation Technique on Three Phase Two Level Inverter
Journal Title: IOSR Journals (IOSR Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper discusses the theory and operation of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) and explains the implementation of SVPWM for the two level inverter topology.Variable voltages and frequency supply to ac drives is invariably obtained from a three-phase voltage source inverter (VSI). A number of Pulse width modulations (PWM) scheme is used to obtain variable voltage and frequency supply. The most widely used PWM schemes for three-phase VSI are carrier-based sinusoidal PWM and SVPWM. There is an increasing trend of using SVPWM because of their easier digital realization and better dc bus utilization. In this paper the theory and implementation of the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation for two levels VSI have been explained using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment and the inverter performance is evaluated in terms of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD).

Optimal location of capacitors and capacitor sizing in a radial distribution system using Stud krill herd Algorithm
his paper presents a new meta-heuristic technique, Stud Krill Herd Algorithm (SKHA) for solving capacitor placement problem in radial distribution system (RDS). The algorithm predicted the optimal size of the capacitors...
Water Wave Optimization Algorithm for solving Thermal Unit Maintenance Scheduling
Maintenance scheduling of generating units is considered one of the vital power system problem for providing power in a reliable and economic way. In order to improve the overall availability of the generating units, cha...
A Comparative Study of Different Traveling Wave Fault Location Techniques
Power transmission lines transfer a huge amount of electricity from generation stations to distribution centers. The flow of the large currents causes faults along transmission lines, leading to extended power outages an...
Design of Large Scale Decentralized Low-Order Robust Control System Stabilizer to Mitigate the Damping of the System
A discrete system is a system with a countable number of states. Discrete systems may be contrasted with continuous systems, which may also be called analog systems. A final discrete system is often modeled with a direct...
The Kp - Bondage And Kp - Non Bondage Number Of Fuzzy Graphs And Graceful Graph
In this paper, we define the bondage bk(G) ,Co-bondage bkc(G), and Non- bondagebkn(G) number for any fuzzy graph and exact values for some standard graphs are found and some bounds are obtained. Moreover we also obtained...
