Implementation of the Internet of things in the sectors of the world economy

Abstract

Subject of research – features of the emergence of new products and services in the space of formation and development of intellectual technologies. The purpose of writing the article is the author’s vision of the specifics of the influence of Internet things on the competitiveness of the national economy in the global economic space. Methodology of the work – general provisions of economic theory, postulates of the innovative economy, as well as PESTL analysis to identify key features and environmental impact on the effectiveness of the introduction of the latest technology in modern Ukraine. The results of the work – an analysis of the environment for the introduction of Internet things in Ukraine, which shows the adverse political factors in Ukraine, but taking advantage of the opportunities of the European Free Trade Area, the country can take promising positions in the global Internet market. Economic conditions are relatively favorable for building business in the Internet sector, and social factors are more conducive to market development in a specific sector, particularly in the B2C segment. Innovative technological environment is characterized by high potential and at the same time lack of state support and protection of inventions. In spite of certain advantages under other equal conditions, the complexity of the legislation regulating international trade, tax, civil–labor relations is a deterrent to the development of the Internet market of things in Ukraine. Conclusions – The Internet of things is extremely promising and its growth is inevitable. He has a lot of opportunities, including: the Internet of things of industrial goods, the market of IOT platforms, but there are also threats that hinder its development in Ukraine. Overcoming these threats can turn existing conditions into new opportunities, so it becomes an important task today. In general, for Ukraine there are many ways to successfully use the possibilities of the Internet market of things, however, there are state problems, without which the competition in this market will be practically impossible, in particular, the political and legal system still remains a stumbling block
