IMPORTANCE OF STUDIES OF MARINE TRANSPORT LOGISTICS TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MODERN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONTEXT

Abstract
In recent decades, the economic, political and technological forces of convergence with particular attention to the importance of strengthening the logistics . Freight transportation and delivery has become one of the key aspects of a successful business. Changed and logistical challenge , from simple product shipments increased toscience , which seeks to control the optimal goods , energy and information flows through the professional management of buying , planning and transport goods. Due to this change , and the role of logistics has changed : it went from local to global, from tactical to strategic, from almost unnoticeable to very decisive. According to the European Union with up to 2040 rail or waterborne transport by at least half of the goods transported more than 300 miles, now Lithuania has even launched several public construction of logistics centers . Obviously, the logistics and all the related industry is one of the most important areas in which the Lithuanian government has provided tremendous attention. It is important that our country's largest cities to post public logistics center, composed of land, air and waterways, as we strategically good place of cargo storage. Another important aspect is that the recruitment of logistics specialists, and better transportation market and the quality of service and save valuable time. Transport links both production processes and distribution of goods, or even destruction. The intensive development of international relations and the rapid exchange of innovative goods and services, especially become important logistical solutions, corporate development and logistics specialists. Based on the analysis of scientific literature to reveal an article maritime logistics study the needs of the modern business development in the context of the analysis of the current situation in the logistics market. The study was carried out in a written questionnaire, verbally and by e-mail, using a questionnaire. The survey was conducted inorder to determine what are willing to study marine logistics technology degree program to analyze the motives and maritime logistics technology program of studies. It also lays down the maritime logistics technology program and the reasons for the selection of marine logistics technology degree program for the development of the modern business context. Based on the data and conclusions of the maritime transport logistics reasons for the choice of study programs and eligibility requirements.
