Improving the design and calculation methods of precast-monolithic anti-seismic belt of buildings
Journal Title: Вісник Одеської державної академії будівництва та архітектури - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 66
Abstract
The article is devoted to seismic resistance of buildings with new precast-monolithic belts. They, unlike monolithic ones, are performed in one cycle together with the laying of floors, without formwork and without interruption (7 days), required for setting up to 70% of the design strength of the concrete platform for laying floors. Armature and concrete of the monolithic core of the belt are laid without technological scaffolds, directly from the floors. Unlike analogues, the new belt ensures the joint work of its constituent elements before the stage of destruction. It also provides a strong contact of a monolithic core with the underlying wall of at least 70 ... 80% of the total reference area of the belt. It reduces the expense of reinforcement. Such precast-monolithic belts can be used in multi-storey buildings with stone or block walls. The tests allowed to introduce a new precast-monolithic belt in the construction of the building of 132 flats. The results of the tests made it possible to develop various options of precast-monolithic belts. They can be used in walls of various thickness (200...400 mm or more) at normal and elevated loads. In addition, the calculation technique of the contact seam strength of their concretes is developed. Also the methods are developed to determine the efforts of the zones during the calculation of buildings under seismic loading taking into account the non-linear behaviour of the masonry and prevention of the pro-gressive collapse of piers.

Analytical modeling of concentrated and localized loads of bars with a curvilinear plain axis. Part i. Modeling of concentrated load
In applied mechanics, the common types of load are concentrated force, moment, and also distributed load localized in a certain part of the bar. An effective approach to the analytical modeling of such loads is the use o...
