INDEPENDENCE OF THE JUDICIARY AND JUDGES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE RULE OF LAW

Abstract
The article deals with the concept of European standards of justice and their significance for the establishment of the rule of law. The essence of independence of the judiciary and judges as the basic condition for the rule of law in society is analyzed. Compulsory components of independent justice are allocated.
