Abstract
The main purpose of the design is to write down the construction of the product or service. In the design of a number of decisions to be taken, and committing even one mistake can result in non-ergonomics product design. In the case of kitchen furniture design, some key functional dimensions are important. Their correct selection for the somatic features of the user makes the kitchen is ergonomic. In the case of kitchen furniture design, some functional dimensions are important, and their correct choice for the somatic features of the user causes the kitchen to be ergonomic. In order to allow for proper selection of these dimensions, an authoritative methodology was proposed, which used a 3D scanner to read „ergonomic information” directly from the user. This individual design method is ideal for designing products for people with special needs. This was confirmed by the verification of the proposed methodology in the so-called Mobile Kitchen. In order to allow for proper selection of these dimensions, an original methodology was proposed, which used a 3D scanner to read „ergonomic information” directly from the furniture user, then use it in engineering design. This individual design method is ideal for designing products for people with disabilities. This was confirmed by the verification of the proposed methodology in the mobile kitchen laboratory.
