INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL CONTENT IN GASOLINE ON THE FUEL ECONOMICITY OF THE MODERN ENGINE

Abstract
In order to determine the expediency of using mixed fuels, the effect of ethanol addition on the performance of an engine equipped with a fuel injection system with feedback was studied. In the course of the study, special attention was paid to the fuel and economic performance of the work and the expansion of the use of alcohol additives. The article gives a brief description of the preparation of a three-factor experiment and a study to determine changes in engine performance with feedback. Presented results of studies of fuel effects on fuel and energy performance. It is established that the hourly fuel consumption and the excess air factor increase along with the increase in the percentage of alcohol in gasoline.
