INFLUENCE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRIES

Abstract
In the article the concept of cryptocurrency is defined. Accordance of cryptocurrency to status of money is analysed. The main stages of cryptocurrency development are covered. The advantages and disadvantages of using Bitcoin cryptocurrency are considered. The legal status of cryptocurrency in the countries of the world is investigated. The state of use of the most famous Bitcoin cryptocurrency in Ukraine is characterized.
