INFLUENCE OF IDEOLOGY ON THE DEFINITION OF CRIMINALLY- LEGAL NORM

Abstract
The article reveals the influence of ideology on the definition of the criminally-legal norm, establishes the importance of non-traditional understanding of the criminally-legal norm for science and practice. A definition of the criminally-legal norm is proposed, which would correspond to the current level of development of the science of criminal law and the needs of practice. The emphasis is placed on the fact that, as an instrument of ideological influence, the law must have inherent specific features that distinguish it from other means of influencing people’s behavior. One of such signs is that the law has a state-normative character – it is established by the state and fixed in the regulatory legal acts.
