INFLUENCE OF NON-RIGID ROAD COATING COVERING SMOOTHNESS ON THE PARAMETERS OF THE TRAFFIC FLOW

Abstract
This article considers the smoothness influence of non-rigid road coating coverings on the parameters of the traffic flow. The scheme of interaction of a moving pneumatic car wheel and unevenness on a road covering is considered. The analysis of existing unevennesses on the coverings of the used road coatings has been carried out and typical shapes of unevenness have been determined. An approach is proposed for determining the value of the load on pavement when overcoming unevennesses in various shapes and the approach to determining the parameters of the transport flow, depending on the smoothness of the road covering.
