Influence of the concept of ecological citizenship on the formation of standards for environmental protection in the EU

Abstract
The author describes the concept of ecological citizen- ship (environmental citizenship). The main idea of the concept is approval in all spheres of human behaviors the personally responsible for the protection of the environ- ment and require the formation of an appropriate way (style) of life (lifestyle approach). The concept is based on the common values of the environment. It points out that the responsibilities in this area are non-contractual and does not correspond rights.
