Rights legal responsibility for violations in the field of nature protection during totalitarianism

Abstract
The article deals with the legal responsibility for en- vironmental offenses, which concerned land, mineral resources, forests, hunting, monuments of culture and nature. The transformation of the Soviet Union in a to- talitarian state is reflected in the increasing of criminal liability for certain types of crimes, among which in- cluded crimes related to the protection of nature, which found its consolidation in the rules of the Adminis- trative Code of the USSR 1927 year and the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR 1927 year. It is investigated structure, quantitative indicators of Criminal Code of the USSR 1927 year and features of legal responsibility for crimes in the sphere of environmental protection.
