Influences of Organizational Culture of Amityville Elementary School on Teachers' Performance: Basis for A Training Development Program

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influences of the organizational culture of Amityville Elementary School on the performance of teachers which can be used as basis for a training development program during the school year 2022-2023.The descriptive method of research with the survey questionnaire as the main data gathering instrument was used. The statistical tools used to treat the data were Weighted Mean, Pearson's r or Pearson Product - Moment Correlation Coefficient, One-Way ANOVA, Correlated t test, Ch-Square and Tukey Pairwise Comparison. Ten (10) school administrators, forty-one (41) teachers and ten (10) non -; teaching personnel served as respondents of the study who were described according to their age, sex, length of service, and educational attainment.Based on the findings, the respondents perceived their organizational culture in terms of vision, leadership, work climate, and professional development to a Very High Extent (HE). Also, it was found out that based on their IPCRF, majority of the teaching and non-teaching personnel obtained Very Satisfactory rating. In addition, it was revealed that there was no significant relationship between organizational culture and respondents' profile, except between vision and length of service, and there was no significant relationship between organizational culture and teachers' performance.A training development program in the form of a seminar workshop was proposed based on the result of the study.
