Abstract
This article considers the issue of infrastructure barriers affecting the nature of doing business in the Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The following barriers are identified in the transport infrastructure (roads, railways, water and air transport), communal infrastructure (electricity, heat, water, gas), commercial infrastructures (warehouses, offices, etc.) new economic entities to enter this commodity market.
