Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the formation of the content of the professional training of future specialists in the information, library and archives in the context of an integrative approach. The general, special and integral competencies of specialists of this specialty are analyzed. The principles of implementation of the integrative approach of content in professional training are substantiated and the possibilities of integrative potential of educational disciplines in the preparation of future specialists of information, library and archival work in higher technical educational institutions are revealed.
