Abstract
The paper presents a case of a 43-year-old patient pregnant with her fourth child, week 35, single dead male fetus, with eclampsia during pregnancy and HELLP syndrome, followed by a caesarian section, hysterectomy without adnexa and DIC. The fast-track diagnosis and intensive treatment ended positively for the patient. The pregnancy ended with giving birth to a dead fetus. The article concentrates on the etiology, syndromes, diagnosing and treatment of complications during pregnancy. The importance of a thorough diagnosing and individual treatment of every single case of endangered pregnancy has been emphasized.
