Interdisciplinary nature of scientific definition of «health»: theoretical and methodological perspective

Abstract
The article analyzes the scientific definition of «health» and reveals its interdisciplinary character. On the basis of theoretical analysis and study of specialists' work the content of approaches to understanding of health from the point of view of philosophy, valeology, medicine, sociology, social work and jurisprudence was researched. So, the philosophical vision of health refers to basic human values. Health from the medical point of view - is a holistic dynamic state of the organism, which is determined by the reserves of energy, plastic and regulatory provision of functions, characterized by resistance to the action of pathogens and the ability to compensate the pathological process. From the social position we should actively influence the change of the client's health experience by transferring theoretical knowledge, forming practical skills and competences in the field of health care. In the context of our study, human health is seen as a complex phenomenon of universal and individual being. This scientific definition is interdisciplinary and requires comprehensive study from the standpoint of philosophy, sociology, valeology, medicine, jurisprudence, sociology, since it depends on the interaction of many complex factors of physical and mental, social and individual order. The main focus is on the characteristics of health from a psychological and pedagogical position. Psychologists prove that one of the important directions of reforming higher education is to provide appropriate conditions for the education and upbringing of a physically and mentally healthy personality. From pedagogical point of view health integrates in itself the following types: physical, mental, spiritual, social health, which are inseparable from each other. Teachers promote pedagogy, which is based on healthcare and health providing educational process, which is aimed at building a health culture on the basis of life skills development. From the standpoint of physical education, health determines physical and intellectual activity, as well as optimal capacity for work, full-fledged social life, becomes a direct realization of needs and interests. Individual health is an integrative result of influencing the human body by various factors: the genetic component, the external environment, social factor, individual life strategy. It is substantiated that health itself determines the physical and intellectual activity of the individual, as well as provides optimal capacity for work, full social life and becomes a direct ground for maximal realization of the needs and interests of future teachers of physical education.
