INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MECHANISMS FOR THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIAL AS A COMPONENT I-CONCEPT

Abstract
In this work, the internal and external mechanisms of the social self are identified as a component of the self-concept. The social self in the structure of the self-concept on the one hand is represented as a system of identifiable identities, social roles, attitudes and values recognized by the individual, and on the other – as a set of self-representations obtained through experience and interpretation of the influence of the environment, that is, evaluating meaningful other social images I. Among the external mechanisms of the formation and development of the social self, socialization of the individual, social interaction and interpersonal communication, the influence of the reference group or the social situation are singled out; Among internal mechanisms – identification, self-attribution, reflection, social comparison, interiorization.
