International legal aspects of African subsystem of international law functioning within the framework of modern universal legal order

Abstract
Second half of XX century witnessed a new wave of regionalism in international law. The law-making and application of the law by African international regional organizations contributed and continue to contribute to the formation and establishment of the African subsystem of international law. The article examines the interaction of universal and African regional international legal rules, as well as the specifics of the development of the African subsystem of international law at the current stage.
