INTERNET MEME AS A LINGUAL CULTURHEME OF MODERN LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of problems of formation and functioning of internet memes, and their influence on the modern Russian language. The purpose of this work is to show that the Internet meme can be considered a lingual cultureme of the Internet space. Internet memes affect the development of the language and culture of modern society. The finding of the analysis of some Russian memes in the Ukrainian Internet space as lingual culturemes is singling out three groups of the online community. The extent of the impact of Internet memes on the speech of different native speakers of Russian has been identified. Nine factors that determine the emergence and usage activity of various Internet memes were found and offered by the author. Those are such factors as the emergence of precedent situations, need for emotionally coloured communication, conscious transition from the reality into the virtual space of the game, meme popularization by state or business structures interested in it. Identification and description of the emergence and functioning of Internet memes has a practical value, as it allows monitoring, analyzing and adjusting any lingual and cultural processes in the society by using the Internet. The article results in the following conclusion. The study of memes emergence and functioning brings up a correlation between the functions, features and factors of the development and use of internet memes in the new specific linguocultural conditions of the Internet space.
