INTERRELATIONS OF SYNCHRONIC AND DIACHRONIC ASPECTS IN YURI LOTMAN’S SEMIOTICS

Abstract
The authors of the article analyze the peculiarities of Yu. Lotman’s semiotics. In the article, it is deducted that his theory of semiosphere was based on the critic examination and development of the system and structural methodology. Yu. Lotman overcame strict difference between synchronic and diachronic aspects of semiotic s, them having been investigated starting with Ferdinand de Saussure and being traditional for semiotics. The structural methodology use allows Yu. Lotman to create the original semiotics of culture.
