ІНТЕРТЕКСТУАЛЬНІСТЬ ЯК РЕАЛІЗАЦІЯ ДІАЛОГІЧНОСТІ ЛІНГВІСТИЧНОГО ДИСКУРСУ

Abstract
The dialogism of scientific discourse is realized through intertextuality which is interaction of two or more texts. The means of its expression in scientific discourse include quotations, paraphrases, background references, notes, etc. The category of intertextuality in linguistic discourse is differentiated by several criteria: time indicator, way of expression, presence/absence of an indication of belonging to the author, size, accuracy of the reproduction of the source and the level of activation of the content. Means of intertextual interaction is an important part of the scientific discourse. With their help scientists realize different communicative and pragmatic functions. We have distinguished the following types of functions: 1) intertextual units as the starting point of author’s thinking; 2) intertextual units as a means of confirming author’s opinion; 3) intertextual units as a way of expression of alternative thought; 4) intertextual units as a means of familiarization of own work; 5) intertextual units as an illustrator of expressed; 6) intertextual units as the expression of the attitude to something already studied by other scientists; 7) intertextual units as an element of engaging a reader in linguistic knowledge; 8) intertextual units as an agent of actualization of the credibility of another researcher.
