INTRODUCTION OF TRIAL JURY INSTITUTION IN CIVIL PROCEEDINGS AS A COMPONENT OF JUDICIAL REFORM IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The paper studied the historical aspects and modern trends of the development of the trial jury institution in Ukraine. The authors analyze the arguments put forward in the judicial literature related to the practicability of the trial jury introduction into the judicial system of Ukraine and future model of this institution in civil proceeding. Certain proposals are given with regard to the improvement of legislative framework, which regulates the trial jury functioning in civil process in Ukraine.
