Investigation of Earthquake Behavior of Kars Kümbet Mosque
Journal Title: Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Dergisi Part C: Tasarım ve Teknoloji - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
Historical mosques constitute the important samples of cultural heritage. In the present study, Kumbet mosque, which is located in Kars, was examined for its structural behavior under earthquake accelerations. The historical mosq building was modeled as three- dimensional with SAP 2000 finite element software. Lineer analyses by using time history method was carried out. The values of displacement, stress and base shear force obtained from the analysis results were compared. Hence, a detailed evaluation was done for the mosq.

An Investigation Of The Effects Of Solid Solution Temperature On The Wear Performance Of Aged AA7075 Alloy
In this study, the effects of different solid solution temperatures (465 °C, 470 °C, 475 °C, 480 °C and 485 °C) before aging heat treatment on the microstructure and wear behaviors of AA7075 were investigated. Scanning e...
Design and Numerical Analysis of a Double-Tube Magnetorheological Shock Absorber for Vehicle Seat Suspension Systems
In scissors-type suspension mechanisms of the driver's seats of vehicles such as tractors, trucks and buses, conventional double-tube shock absorbers are often used as dampers due to the length of the course. The damping...
