Investigative activities of the state security bodies of the Ukrainian SSR (mid-1930s – early 1950’s): historical and legal analysis

Abstract
The article deals with the historical and legal analysis of legal acts regulating the investigation conducted by the bodies of state security of the Ukrainian SSR during the period of strengthening and development of the Soviet totalitarian regime in Ukraine from the mid-1930s to the early 1950s. Peculiarities of the investigative activities of the bodies of state security have been characterized too.
