Abstract
The aim of the article is to present the investments in infrastructure conductive to the development of other investments, which significantly improves the functioning of economic entities. On the basis of literature studies defined the concept of infrastructure into account its particular characteristics and types. The article presents the benefits of investment in infrastructure and infrastructure facilities. The analysis of SWOT investment of infrastructure, taking into account its main strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and threats associated with it. Also presented investment financing infrastructural in the municipality and investment risk. (original abstract)
