ISOLATION AND FRACTIONAL SEPARATION OF TARRAGON ESSENTIAL OIL BY SUPERCRITICAL FLUID
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2009, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
The experimental results of supercritical CO2 extraction on tarragon essential oil at 50˚C and 90 bar are presented. The chemical composition and the yield of the supercritical extract are compared with those of the tarragon oil isolated by conventional hydrodistillation method.

FTIR AND MOLECULAR MODELING STUDY OF THE INTERACTION BETWEEN b-CYCLODEXTRIN AND POLYCHLOROBIPHENYLS
The production of polychlorobiphenyls (PCB’s) is forbidden but they are found frequently in different environmental compartment due to their high stability. In this paper the interaction between β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), a...
VOLTAMMETRY STUDY OF THE 2,4,6 -TRINITROTOLUENE CONVERSION INTO THE AMINE COMPOUNDS USING ZERO-VALENT IRON
The paper describes the use of voltammetry in monitoring the reductive process of 2,4,6 Trinitrotoluene(TNT) to amine compounds by zero-valent Iron. This method let’s us determine simultaneously the reduction of TNT and...
ELECTRIC FIELD EFFECT ON OPTICAL DICHROISM OF SOME AZODYES DISSOLVED IN COMPENSATED CHOLESTERIC LIQUID CRYSTAL
In the paper are presented the results obtained in the study of the optical dichroism of some azodyes dissolved in a compensated mixture of cholesteryl chloride and cholesteryl-nonanoate under the electric field action....
THE TECHNOLOGICAL OPTIMIZATION OF DISCONTINUOUS FILTRATION USING GEOMETRICAL PROGRAMMING
The paper depicts both a technological optimization method for discontinuous filtration that is based on experimental data and a computer program that realises the optimization. The algorithm and the program allow gettin...
