ISOLATION AND FRACTIONAL SEPARATION OF TARRAGON ESSENTIAL OIL BY SUPERCRITICAL FLUID
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2009, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
The experimental results of supercritical CO2 extraction on tarragon essential oil at 50˚C and 90 bar are presented. The chemical composition and the yield of the supercritical extract are compared with those of the tarragon oil isolated by conventional hydrodistillation method.

THERMAL ANNEALING KINETICS OF RADICALS FORMED BY THE RADIOLYSIS IN POLYCRYSTALLINE SOLID STATE OF ARGININE
The radiolysis with gamma radiation of arginine, in solid polycrystalline state, was performed at room temperature. The EPR spectra, recorded after radiolysis allowed the identification of three paramagnetic centers. A p...
EXPLORING THE DNA INTERCALATING POTENTIAL OF GLYCOSYLATED TETRATHIAFULVENE (TTF) AND DITHIOLENE DERIVATIVES
The DNA intercalating potential of the previously prepared water-soluble glycosylated tetrathiafulvene (TTF) and dithiolene derivatives was assessed through comparative docking analysis using doxorubicin as the reference...
SYNTHESIS AND ANTIMICROBIAL EVALUATION OF SOME AMINO ACID DERIVATIVES OF 2-AMINO-4-METHYLTHIAZOLE
The synthesis of a new series of 2-[N-(Tos-, Pht- or tetrachlorophthalyl)-aminoacyl]- or free 2-(aminoacyl)- or 2-[N-(Tos- or Pht-)dipeptidyl]amino-4-methyl-thiazole derivatives (II-XXIII) is described. Further, Schiff b...
NEW ALGORITHM AND PROGRAM FOR SIMPLE EXTRACTION WITH MULTIPLE CONTACTS OPTIMIZATION
A mathematical algorithm and a Turbo Pascal computer program, allowing to perform some calculations for simple extraction with multiple contacts, using the Gibbs’s triangle and a new method of interpolation, simpler than...
