İstemdışı Devinim Bozukluğu (Tik) Tedavisinde Hipnoterapi

Abstract
Tic disorder; is a group of muscle contraction that is involuntary, rapid, intermittent, non-rhythmic and in repetitive manner. Due to a common condition in childhood Tic disorder is important. Hypnosis; is a psychological condition that occurs with the request in which the brain function works and the individual control is open with strictly absence of drowsiness. A patient treated with hypnotherapy who was admitted to our clinic with complaints of tic disorder is discussed in this paper. A 20 years old patient who claims having no benifit from previous treatments had tic complaint since 3 years and was admitted to our policlinic. With two sessions of hypnoterapy, patient was totaly treated from tic disorder. After 3 months, patient was re-evaluated and we have learned that he had no tic disorder. Hypnotherapy is a method of complementary and alternative treatments that can be used as an effective treatment in tic disorder. Physicians who have received practical training on hypnotherapy will be beneficial to use this method for tic disorders that reduce the human quality of life.
