Abstract
The article reflects the main story of development of the hotel business, since the time of the first mention of the hospitality industry, (in 1700 BC) to the present day. The structure and conception of the hotel business itself have been developed for centuries; this was encouraged by changes in global scale and people themselves. The pilgrims made changes in welcoming culture of each people, offering a certain price for certain services, thus forming a service and housing conditions for hotel guests. This article fully represents the key factors, which influence over the history of the hotel business, telling about its beginning, the period of formation and changes that led this kind of activity from victualling houses to highly comfortable world-class hotels.
