ІСТОРИК ІВАН ГРАНЧАК ПРО УТВОРЕННЯ ЧЕХОСЛОВАЦЬКОЇ РЕСПУБЛІКИ 1918 РОКУ

Abstract
In the article it is analyzed the contribution of Ukrainian historian Ivan Hranchak to the researches of the history of the formation of Czechoslovak Republic in 1918. According to the scientist, the emergence of independent Czechoslovakia had a great influence on the political situation in Central Europe, and its formation took place in difficult international circumstances. The First Czechoslovak Republic created the right conditions for the domestic development of the peoples who lived in it. The ideas of democracy, humanity and benevolence have always dominated in the actions of the First Czechoslovak Republic. The author of the article concludes that, despite certain omissions and manifestations of various ideological influences, Ivan Hranchak did a great job in studying the history of the formation of the First Czechoslovak Republic. Moreover, his research work in the 1990s had a significant influence on the development of Czech and Slovak studies in Ukraine.
