Abstract
This article highlights the relationship of the last representatives of the ruling Arpad dynasty with representatives of the magnates of the Hungarian kingdom. Particular attention is paid to the activities of the magnate families, aimed at weakening the royal power and increasing their own influence on the political and socio-economic life of Hungary in the last third of the 13th century.
