Abstract

Despite all the harsh trials, the Reformed Church was not able to break, the church continued to function as an important consolidating factor for the Hungarians people of the region. Church was a serious opponent of atheistic power plans. The Hungarians' linguistic isolation from the Russian-speaking (partly Ukrainian-language) state apparatus was in her favor, in particular, making harder "illuminating" her activities and processes in her environment for the apparatus of the Council for Religious Affairs.
