Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarities of the long-term pedagogical and research activities of well-known transcarpathian history teacher Fedir Bretsko, his experience of preparing of the future history teachers, the focus of which is on assimilation of the activity approach and awareness of the humanitarian orientation of the educational process in the context of the need for pupils to develop their abilities and skills of the developed person, the ability to apply the knowledge gained in practice from different educational subjects.
