Istota ekonomiki bezpieczeństwa jako dyscypliny naukowej = The essence of security economics as a scientific discipline.

Abstract
The objective of this article is to present the essence of security economics as part of a modem scientific discipline in the methodological context of reflection. 'We present the evolutionary nature of security economics, its specific field of inquiry and attributes such as: language, research methods and science streams. This article also included information about connections with other disciplines, functions and usability (pragmatics) of security economics. We briefly highlight research and academic centres which are engaged with economics and defence inquiries. All presented information can be treated as an outline of these problems, which have methodical characteristics and knowledge ordering. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaprezentowanie istoty ekonomiki bezpieczeństwa jako dyscypliny naukowej. Zwrócono w nim uwagę na jej naukowy, ewolucyjny rodowód. Przed¬stawiono jej obiekt i przedmiot badań oraz związki z innymi naukami. Oznacza to także przybliżenie jej atrybutów, tj.: języka, metod badawczych, funkcji i przydatności (pragmatyzmu). Zasygnalizowano również zagadnienie odnoszące się do program badań. Wskazano główne ośrodki akademickie i badawcze, które zajmują się dociekaniami ekonomiczno- obronnymi. W sumie jednak prezentowane informacje należy traktować jako zarys podnoszonych problemów, mający charakter metodyczny oraz porządkujący wiedzę z tego, jakże wieloaspektowego i interdyscyplinarnego, obszaru wiedzy.
