КЛИНИЧЕСКИЕ ОСОБЕННОСТИ ВРОЖДЕННОГО МИКРОФТАЛЬМА С КИСТОЙ ОРБИТЫ

Abstract
Blindness and weak vision in childhood are often a consequence of the inherent pathology of the organ of vision. Microphthalmos in combination with a cyst make up 2% of all congenital cysts. The emergence of the cyst of the orbit with a microphthalmus is associated with both intrauterine growth disorders during the period of immersion of the eyeball in the eye cup and because of defects in the eyeball. Cysts develop from both the primary and secondary bladder, as evidenced by the case of the formation of an eyeball of normal size and the presence of a cyst. Under the supervision of the authors there were 4 patients with bilateral microphthalmos and cyst formation in the left orbit. Anterior - posterior size of the left eye was 1.3 times less than the right. The microphthalm of the right eye was accompanied by colobomas of the iris, the vascular membrane and in one case the coloboma of the optic nerve disk. In the left eye there is a gross opacification of the cornea, which does not allow to inspect optical media and the fundus. With ultrasound examination, CT, MRT revealed thickening of the shells of the eyeballs their uneven contours, small calcareous deposits, thickening of the extraocular muscles. In the left orbit behind the eye, a homogeneous formation of low density with clear contours was determined. Possible encephalopathy of hydrocephalus, agenesis of corpus callosum.
