Abstract

Threshold and Distinctive Competencies of Students of Early Child Education — Research Evidence The article presents results of the study conducted among graduates of Early Child Education at the Faculty of Pedagogy, which concerned their self-assessment within the scope of acquired competencies and communication skills. Students who completing the cycle of teacher training will perform a profession of public trust in the future. The teachers’ professionalism, their value and professional preparation depend on skills and competencies acquired during the whole period of their studies and on practising these skills in the course of their professional career.
