Abstract
Currently, innovation in healthcare in general and hospitals in particular, is characterized by the blurring of priorities, low level of innovative potential even in the leading universities of the Russian Federation, with the exception of specialized research institutions, the weakness of the implementation of research results. The main reasons for insufficient development of information systems in domestic medicine is the lack of funding, technology and regulatory framework. To solve these problems it is necessary to apply an integrated approach to the use of information technology in the health care system.
