Kompleksowy symulator lotu samolotu PZL-130 TC-II Orlik "Vector"

Abstract
The development of modern military aviation, as well as the high cost of training pilots, the use of increasingly sophisticated equipment and aircraft systems, require the use of flight simulators which are part of computerized flight training systems. This simulator has been developed and produced by ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries as an important component of the comprehensive airforce pilot training system, based on the PZL-130 TC-II ORLIK aircraft. The paper presents the main elements of this system and its most important element, the flight simulator. Its structure, mathematical models simulating air environment and aerodynamic values, as well as applied technological solutions are discussed in detail. The summation of the reflections shows the possibilities of cooperation of the simulator with other similar training systems used in air forces. The role of aviation simulators has also been addressed in the training and on-the-job training of aviation personnel, with particular emphasis on pilot-aircraft operator and the importance of a simulator for improving flight safety.
