Kültepe’den Amūtum’un Eksilmesi Hakkında Bir Mektup (A Letter about Decrease in amūtum from Kültepe)

Abstract

The letter was written by Šalim-Aššur to Sukkaliya. amūtum that two Assyrian people possessed decreased somehow. One of these people says that he did not have any responsibility for that issue and that he notified of the situation to kārum as well. However, he later confessed that he was responsible for the subject loss. Šalim-Aššur warns Sukkaliya that this person is an imposter and he should not be trusted.
