Abstract
This research analyzes features about the development of a contextualized education and its importance in today's society; it is a bibliographic-documentary research, which considered important theoretical references, including several UNESCO reports. Reflection, analysis and synthesis were used as main methods of study, in whose development it is emphasized that an education for all as a way to build a fair and equitable society is a duty of the state in its broadest meaning. A quality education, as a human right will allow the individual and collective integral development in all stages, therefore, education constitutes an important responsibility of all educational actors; authorities, teachers, students, student representatives, and other participants; promote an education that is capable of responding to the demands of society, taking into account that it is constantly changing over and over.
