Abstract
The present paper is focused on dealing with ’frozen lexical structures” containing the word ”bread” in translations as well as on underlining an equivalence relation between the original text (in French) and its translation into another language (Romanian). Therefore, it is compulsory to define and clarify not only the notion of ”equivalence”, but also the notions of ”fidelity” and ”correspondence”.
