THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MENTALITIES – THE PRAGMATIC AND DISCURSIVE APPROACH

Abstract
The present article aims to offer a theoretical, yet partial, insight into the linguistic analysis of mentalities (the pragmatic and discursive approach), when the given corpus is the literary text and, even more, when we compare literary works of different authors from different cultures and/or ages.
