LA INTERDISCIPLINARIEDAD: UNA REFLEXIÓN PARA EL DESEMPEÑO PROFESIONAL DEL MAESTRO PRIMARIO EN LAS ESCUELAS RURALES

Abstract

The interdisciplinary work of the primary teacher in Cuba, demands an integrating formation, where the interdisciplinary procedure becomes a coherent way to the fulfillment of the objectives of the primary school in the rural context. Although progress has been made in the subject, there are still some gaps in the didactic and methodological preparation of the primary teacher to conceive integrated actions and transcend the disarticulation of particula didactics that limit the interdependence and convergence among the subjects taught. In the research conducted, emphasis is placed on the theoretical foundations to achieve the development of professional skills in students, and to find novel alternatives that guide the logic of professional performance related to the comprehensive education of schoolchildren in the rural context. In this article, an experience developed from the research project is socialized: Turquino; associated with the National Program: Current Problems of the Cuban Educational System. The best interdisciplinary work experiences and the workshops carried out with students and professors of the career were systematized, helped to obtain a holistic vision and to evaluate the transformations carried out in relation to the modes of action in the rural context for the classes in multigrade groups.
