La Teoría Fundamentada como herramienta para buscar “narrativas” en el Periodismo de Datos: análisis del caso “Reading the riots” en The Guardian

Abstract
This article attempts to clarify differences between the old Precision Journalism and the emerging Data Journalism. We use the case study "Reading the riots" published by The Guardian. Through it we explore what are the characteristics of Data Journalism. At the same time some complications of this new discipline are indicated. One of them is the great difficulty to find a successful narrative that explains the huge amount of data available. This is where a very interesting -and often applied in social sciencetool could be used: The Grounded Theory.
