Laboratory diagnosis of infections caused by staphylococci in dogs

Abstract
In this review destined for education of specialists in the field are presented methods used in the laboratory diagnosis of various staphylococcal infections. The authors present in detail the methods of sampling, how the samples are transportated, and all laboratory tests, from which, some are done without too much difficulty, even in field conditions, focusing on molecular biology tests. Very important are the two chapters in which are discussed the differentiations between staphylococcus and other bacteria families, but also the antibiotic resistance of the staphilococcuci, a problem of modern medicine current year.
