L’ANXIETE LANGAGIERE CHEZ DES ETUDIANTS TURCS APPRENANT LE FRANÇAIS

Abstract
L’anxiété langagière, fait langagier causé essentiellement par la peur d’entrer en communication, l’anxiété face aux tests et la peur d’être évalué négativement, est un phénomène vécu par les individus apprenant une langue étrangère. Prenant place parmi les différences individuelles, cette anxiété est un facteur influençant la performance des apprenants au sein de la classe, leur attitude envers la langue cible, leur réussite langagière et rendant difficile l’apprentissage de la langue. En appliquant à 48 étudiants qui suivent un cours optionnel de français l’échelle d’anxiété langagière élaborée par Horwitz et al. (1986), cette étude vise à mesurer le niveau d’anxiété de ces apprenants et à montrer quelle composante de l’anxiété langagière est majoritairement à la source de leur anxiété. Les résultats montrent que tous les apprenants de cette étude ressentent en cours de français une anxiété causée, à un niveau égal, par les trois composantes.
